Senior Full Stack Developer

This large Federal Government Department aims to develop a business-critical system , to integrate with other critical systems, that will play a key role in reducing risk for both industry and the environment throughout Australia.

The Role:

Your initial focus will be on designing a system and developing user interface components and implementing these within well-known patterns and libraries such as Material-UI. The platform is being built using the latest technologies and cloud-based architecture, utilizing the power of platform services. You will ensure that these components and the overall application is scalable, robust and easy to maintain.  You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team and collaborate with developing other aspects of the product.

Skills and Experience:

– Baseline security clearance is essential
– Substantial experience with .Net and or .Net Core with C#.
– Proven experience in delivering E2E large scale solution including integration to the backend via microservices.
– Substantial web application development experience, preferably with modern Single Page App development e.g., React 16.8+ or Angular 2.
– Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript is a plus. Strong collaborative attributes and a proactive approach to sharing knowledge amongst peers.
– Proficiency in unit test development and unit testing practices.
– Experience in the use and development of RDMS solutions e.g., Microsoft SQL Server.
– Familiarity with CI/CD and version control systems e.g., Microsoft Azure DevOps, and GIT.
– Experience with Material-UI and design systems generally.
– Experience with Visual Studio and VS Code.
– Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
– Experience working in an agile team with agile practices e.g., SCRUM.

About the Role
You will be responsible for supporting the team to deliver a range of procurement functions including the provision of advice, development of request documents, through to contract management and administrative support. You will be able to independently make decisions within legislative requirements and be consistent with internal policies and operating procedures.
 
Skills & Experience

  • Experience in procurement and/or contract management functions in a government department.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of the PGPA Act and the CPRS.
  • Strong commitment to be an effective team member.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.

About the Role
You will be responsible for performing a range of procurement functions including independently undertaking simple and complex procurement, managing approaches to market to obtain quotes and tenders, and assisting the department to meet its statutory obligations by collating and preparing various documentation. You will also be responsible for providing timely advice, reporting and resolution on more complex issues and providing support to the team. The role requires a thorough understanding of Commonwealth Procurement Rules including current procurement policies and procedures.

  • Experience in procurement or contract management functions
  • Track record of assisting team members in delivering business goals
  • Strong productive working relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

About the Role:
  
We are looking for a Senior-level Accounts Payable wiz with strong SAP skills, and a proven track record in implementing system/workflow improvement initiatives, to start ASAP for a 2 month contract that has a likelihood of being extended. Reporting to a supportive and approachable Manager you will take ownership of an initiative to implement a corporate card management system. Key to your success will be your ability to write business requirement specifications and analyse workflow implications.  This role gives you the opportunity to improve and shape change to the existing Accounts Payable processes. The role has a mix of WFH / WFO flexibility, located in Brisbane’s CBD.
  
Key Responsibilities:

  • Project lead to implement and automate the Departmental CommBank Card Manager system.
  • Outline project objectives, scope, roles and responsibilities.
  • Create business requirements and communicate these to the project team and external stakeholders.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to determine permissions and system behaviours.
  • Suggest improvements to corporate card acquittal dashboard.
  • Assist with various automation process and projects.
  • Bi-annual trend analysis on corporate card transactions to identify trends and misuse.
