The client:

This is a client with a national customer base and this role can be based in Brisbane or Sydney.
  
The role:
This is a Senior role within the Digital Team and will see you working closely with the Head of Digital and the other internal departments and external partners.

  • Creating unique customer experiences and journeys by working with designers, agencies and partners.
  • Support the development of a design system for both web and mobile products
  • Research relevant technologies to deliver on the company’s brand promises
  • Lead the development of digital products
  • Design, code, verify, test, document, amend and refactor complex applications/scripts and integrate with software services
  • Contribute to the selection of software development approach for projects, selecting appropriately from predictive (plan-driven) approaches or adaptive (iterative/agile) approaches
  • Apply agreed standards and tools, to achieve well-engineered outcomes

What you bring to the table:

  • Proven experience in front end development, ideally including significant experience in the Banking / Finance domain
  • Proven experience in application development
  • Experience developing complex products on modern front-end frameworks (React, Vue, etc.)
  • Experience developing responsive front-ends based on advanced custom styling and layout
  • Experience developing, deploying, managing, securing and maintaining API’s
  • Experience with leading Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, etc.)
  • Experience working in Agile teams using continuous development and integration

Beneficial experience:

  • React JS / React Native
  • UX Design / UI Design
  • Experience working with remote teams
  • Azure
  • AWS

Site Supervisor – Electrical experience needed

The client:

A national, well known brand with over 25 years industry experience and known for their innovation and drive for excellence.

The role:

This role will see you play a pivotal role as the conduit between the client and the subcontractors (electrical) working onsite, be it a new build or refit. This role requires a candidate who is able to work autonomously, someone who has outstanding communication skills, able to work with stakeholders at all levels and who has great organisational skills.

What you need to bring to the table:

  • You will have an electrical background – ideally in AV/Security
  • You will be able to work autonomously
  • Have exceptional communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work with all levels of stakeholders
  • Ideally you will have experience working on construction sites
  • You will have a valid QLD Drivers licence

Additional details:

  • Paid On call roster + over time (1 week every 6-8 weeks)
  • Some interstate travel may be required from time to time

Technical Lead – Electronic OR Electrical OR Software Engineering

Core skills and experience:

  • Electrical/Electronic Engineering
  • Basic to intermediate IP networking skills

  • Extensive practical knowledge of 3 or more of the following:

    • Digital Data Communications and associated fault diagnosis
    • Windows Server

    • Telephony and digital voice networks
    • Radio Frequency (RF) communications

Education:

  • Minimum Certificate IV in Electronics, Electrical and/or Computing

Desirable Competencies:

  • Prior experience in Project Management
  • Develop a personal learning and development program to improve own technical, people, project management, commercial and management skills
  • Further to Existing Skills obtain and maintain up-to-date knowledge of the following:
    • Databases and file system Electronics, including circuit analysis and implementation
    • Virtualisation technologies
    • IP Networking
    • IPTV / IP broadcast and streaming technologies
    • Legacy telephony and VoIP technologies
    • IT Service Management (ITIL)
    • Project Management (PRINCE2 or Agile)
