About the Role
Our Federal Government client is seeking a report developer who will work with the business areas to develop and maintain the Agency's suite of reporting.
About the Project
Using internal data and working with product owners, BAs, UX and other Insights analysts, the you will extract and manipulate data and prepare it to be visualised. You will translate the business' process and needs to enhance day to day operations. You will also keep stakeholders informed on the progress and any associated blockers for discussion and remediation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high quality reporting products.
- Convert raw data into comprehensible visualisations to enable insights drive business actions.
- Manage reporting projects, workflow, and provide technical support.
- Ensure all report products are well tested and documented, and releases contain appropriate change notes and documentation.
- Ensure code written for projects is extensible and reusable.
- Have a good understanding of version control workflows and oversee release management across projects.
- Expert level SQL and/or SAS Skills with a minimum of 5 or more years in Business Intelligence/ Data.
- Experience working with raw data, drawing compelling and actionable insights via visualisations.
- Experience with testing and validating data, designing products with accessibility and user experience in mind.
- Demonstrable knowledge of CI/CD Practices, Project tracking software (Ex- JIRA) and version control (GIT, Bitbucket).
- Initial 12 month contract + 12 month extension
- WFH / WFO hybrid flexibility

This role will see you play a pivotal role as the conduit between the client and the subcontractors (electrical) working onsite, be it a new build or refit. - Paid On call roster + over time (1 week every 6-8 weeks)

The role:

- Proven experience in front end development, ideally including significant experience in the Banking / Finance domain
- Proven experience in application development
- Experience developing complex products on modern front-end frameworks (React, Vue, etc.)
- Experience developing responsive front-ends based on advanced custom styling and layout
- Experience developing, deploying, managing, securing and maintaining API’s
- Experience with leading Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, etc.)
- Experience working in Agile teams using continuous development and integration

This role will suit an experienced Front end Developer with React who is looking for the opportunity to build market-leading products.
This a remote WFH contract for an experienced Business Analyst to work on assigned engagements within local Government. You will undertake analysis and modelling of current and future business processes and information management environments.
What you need to bring to the table:
- Advanced knowledge of Business analysis, particularly the ability to question and understand how issues integrate.
- Proven analytical abilities and experience developing Business Requirements Specifications, Business Cases, Functional and Non-Functional Specifications.
- Practical experience analysing and modelling data, business processes, user pathways and information flows.
- Minimum Baseline Clearance would be highly desirable
- Practical experience working as part of a multi-disciplinary team in an agile development environment
- Leading business analysis activities within a discovery phase for large-scale digital initiatives
- Experience developing system integration specifications
- Experience developing IT system procurement documentation
- Diverse range of design practice experience (for example: Design thinking, Human Centered Design, User Experience)
- Initial 6 month contract
- WFH remote working options with occasional travel to Canberra may be required.
